A commercial contract should do more than describe a service. It should explain what happens if payment is late, work is delayed, deliverables change, confidential information is misused, or one party wants to exit.
Before signing, review the scope of work, payment timing, liability caps, indemnity language, termination rights, and the forum for disputes.
Templates Have Limits
A generic form may be a useful starting point, but it rarely reflects the real business relationship. A focused review before signing is usually less expensive than a dispute after performance begins.
